MortiseTalk to me

(d) about

A business grows as far as its systems let it.

Mortise works with established businesses that are good at what they do and held back by how it gets done. The job is to find the point where a small change moves a lot of weight — and then build it.

How I work

principles
01

Systems, not heroics

Growth stalls when everything depends on a few people remembering everything. A good system carries the load instead — so capacity goes up without headcount going up with it.

02

Honest about the gap

Sometimes AI is the answer. Often a clearer process, a better template, or one removed handoff does more. I'd rather tell you that than sell you something impressive.

03

The work should show

Plenty of businesses are far better than their pitch suggests. Getting the presentation, the proposal and the credentials right is often the cheapest growth available.

04

Yours when I leave

Everything I build is meant to be run and changed by your team. Written down, walked through, supported while it settles — then it's yours.

Founder

I build systems that let businesses scale higher than the people in them could carry alone. That means looking honestly at how the work actually flows, removing the friction, automating what repeats, and making sure the way a company presents itself matches how good it really is.

Mortise stays intentionally small: one founder, one point of accountability, and a network of trusted specialists brought in when a project calls for it. You deal with the person doing the work, start to finish.
